Homemade Infused Oils & Flavored Salts are a wonderful addition to your everyday pantry staples. These oils and salts add tremendous flavor to dressings and sautéed vegetables. During the spring and summer months when your garden is bursting at the seams with peppers and you cannot bare the thought of making another batch of salsa (like that is even possible. HA!), it is great to have another option.
Get yourself a good food dehydrator to make this process easier. I have used both the oven and my food dehydrator, depending on what I am making. The habaneros laying on a bed of sea salt while drying in the oven exudes such a delicious scent throughout the house. It is amazing!

I always use Extra Virgin Olive Oils because that is what I choose to cook with more times than not.
